For those of you who are not familiar about how your Union is run, the Union is a registered Charity and as such we have a Board of Trustees who are ultimately responsible for running the charity on behalf of the members. This board is made up of up to eight student officers and four external members.

Over the past month the Students' Union has successfully recruited four external people to join the Board of Trustees alongside the three Sabbaticals and five Part-time Officers. The external members bring a wealth of experience and skills to the Board and with the enthusiasm and input from the students it is hoped that Bath Spa University Students' Union can develop further to ensure it is a key part of the student experience for years to come.
