Make Positive Change, Just Campaign

Inspire, make a stand and shout loud!

The SU hosts and delivers a whole array of campaigns throughout the year. The purpose of the campaigns is to make your experience at Bath Spa as good as it can be as well as offer essential guidance, advice and information.

How to get involved:

The SU has developed a really easy and accessible way for everyone to be able to run a campaign of their choosing or get involved and volunteer on one which is already running.

The SU has a pot of money up for grabs for students who want to run and lead campaigns on a topic of their choosing; there is a campaign toolkit which provides essential campaign information as well as loads of support and advice.

The Students’ Union is here to represent you and your best interests and apart of this is campaigning! Over the course of the academic year 2011/2 the Students’ Union will be running a series of cracking, wicked and awesome campaigns.

The campaigns run at the SU can be split into four areas;
- Introduce a new issue not previously considered
e.g. Donation not Discrimination (Giving blood)
- Reiterate an existing issue that might need emphasising
e.g. Testicular cancer (Movember)
- Remind people of a historical event that needs recalling
e.g. Black History month
- Highlight an up-and-coming issue
e.g. Tuition Fess

The SU’s commitment to running campaigns is fundamental to how the SU is run, as it provides you all with a platform to express your opinions, concerns and interests. However, the topics on which campaigns should be run, when they should run and who should run them are down to you!
