Thank you for your interest in the role of Chief Executive at Bath Spa University Students’ Union (Bath Spa SU) and for taking the time to visit our website to learn more about this exciting and unique opportunity.
Bath Spa SU is vital to the experience of each and every student whilst studying at Bath Spa University. Our mission is to represent and support students whilst at Bath Spa University and provide opportunities for personal development through social, cultural, sporting and recreational activities and facilities. Students have increasingly high expectations and we aim to tailor our services and activities to meet their needs and expectations.
These vary from representation and campaigning, clubs and societies, volunteering in the community and key skills to operating a bar and shop.
As Chief Executive you will work closely with the Board of Trustees and Union Officers to deliver the Union’s strategic aims, as well as engaging with elected representatives and the wider student body to understand the needs of the members.
You will help us foster relationships with the University, benefiting from their experience, goodwill and investment to secure a sustainable future which is fit for purpose and complements services offered by the University. Working with the senior management team you will embed a culture which helps staff and officers reach their potential as individuals while contributing to a growing and high performing organisation.
The Board of Trustees, Union Officers and Staff very much look forward to working with a new Chief Executive in ensuring that our organisation continues to develop and deliver its part of the student experience.
