Students Partnership Worldwide (SPW) is a charity that works to provide opportunities for young people in the UK to play a lead role at the forefront of international development. Their main focus is on health education programmes in India, Nepal, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia and Tanzania. Volunteers act as peer educators in the likes of schools and health clinics, encouraging better health through knowledge transfer and behaviour change.
Placements run for between 5 - 12 months and volunteers must fundraise a minimum of £3600. In return, SPW provides:
