Information for Organisations

If you're a volunteer-involving organisation looking to recruit more volunteers, then we may be able to help. Bath Spa University offers a huge reservoir of potential volunteers, some 6,500 students. All Just V's services are FREE to organisations.

How might we be able to help you?
There are many ways that Just V could help. We could:

• Recruit volunteers for you through our brokerage service, the V-Base.
• Provide a team of volunteers to help you out with one-off, half- or full day projects through Quickies.
• Possibly fundraise money for you through our RAG society.
• Provide a team of volunteers to help you out on a specific project over a number of weeks through our Student Projects.
• Promote a one-off volunteer opportunity you might have through all student emails, on university web-pages, through academic schools and so on.
• Host your promotional literature in our Resources Room.
• Arrange opportunities for you to come on-campus and deliver talks / training to students and academic and support staff.
• Facilitate links between you and relevant lecturers / academic schools.

Please note - if you wish for your organisation to be listed on V-Base, Susan may need to visit to discuss your opportunities further and to ensure that volunteers will receive appropriate training (where necessary) and are covered by insurance, health and safety, equal opportunities and any other policies relevant to the volunteering role.
