Running a Club / Society

This section is designed to be a one stop shop for everything you will need to run a club or society at Bath Spa. If you require further information, please contact Amy Stringer, su-activities@bathspa.ac.uk

Constitution.pdf (including committee list)
Details Form.pdf (must be completed by )
Vehicle Booking Form.pdf (used for booking the SU Zafira(7seats) or minibus(15 seats)
Vehicle Test Application.pdf (become a driver for your club/society - must be over 21 with 3 years clean license)
Playing Under Protest.pdf (BUCS sports teams)
Match Sheet.pdf (complete for all matches - fees due into SU Office on the same day or next working day)
Risk Assessment.pdf (compete a new risk assesment for each type of actvity annually or if the activity changes)
Trip Registration.pdf (complete if you are taking a group off on a trip or a tour)

If you are running a club or society, you should have read the Clubs & Societies Handbook - you can get a copy from the SU Office or view it online.

Text Messaging

Clubs & Societies can have a Union text messaging account - email t.holden@bathspa.ac.uk to request an account for your society/club. Click here to access your account.

Health & Safety

Each club or society committee is responsible for ensuring the safety of their members. You must complete a new risk assesment for each type of actvity annually or if the activity changes, you should read the guide to risk assessing before completing any risk assessment. You also have a duty to ensure that members know the nationally agreed rules (if there are any) for the activity they are undertaking.
