Student Academic Rep's
The aim of the STARS is to help bridge the gap between what the University provides and what the students actually need. STARS are fully traine
d by the Union to talk with their lecturers and course staff to assess the best way in making the student experience easier.
STARS are the means by which you can comment on your course and the university. If you are concerned or want an input on your student e
xperience, through the STARS you can have your voice heard!
STARS are nominated from their courses across all years and represent the needs of their respective students to staff-student meetings, and to the Union itself. You will find details of your rep on your departmental notice boards or via the Who's my STAR? section on the site. STARS are also contactable via reps@bathspa.ac.uk or via the Students' Union office.
Students are encourage to discuss issues on the student forums. These forums can be accessed by a minerva loggin, but only students and Students' Union officers and staff so you can feel safe that academic staff wil not be able to read what you are saying.
A number of Students' Union staff and officers are involved in supporting different aspects of the STARS system, if you have any questions the best first point of contact is reps@bathspa.ac.uk or come into the Students' Union Office.
