Before coming to University you may well have a lose idea of what a Students' Union is and what they do.
Maybe you had an SU at college or are aware of the NUS?
But what do we really do and why are we here?
There are many things associated with the SU such as:

- Trips
- Volunteering
- Representation
- Opportunities to try new things and meet new people
- Support
Yes the Students' Union is all of these things but it is also so much more. It is all about enhancing the student experience and generating a student community that works together to improve their lives as students.
The Sabbatical Officers and full time staff and here to not only provide you with opportunities, information and support but to express your opinions and campaign for change within the University.
