Welcome to the home of the Trustee Elections 2008
The Students' Union is run by the students, for the students, and the most obvious way that this happens is through the election of students to run the SU for the next Academic year. Each year during the General Elections, usually held in March, the three Sabbaticals and other part-time Student Officers are elected, however, when positions are not filled, we hold a by-election, to ensure that the SU is being run democratically and in the interests of all the students.
This Trustee by-election is to fill the three remaining part-time positions on the Union's Board of Trustees, your SU's main oversight and decision-making body. The theme of this election is "The Exec Factor". Do you think you have what it takes to be a vauable part of your Students' Union? Can you help the SU move forward by helping us make the decisions that all the students want us to make? If you feel you can give your input to the SU, then we want to hear from you!!
