The Freshers Fair takes place slam-bang in the middle of freshers week on Wednesday 29th September 2010. Last year's fair attracted over 3500 students, from all years at the University and was quite an experience. Students descend on the freshers fair to sample all the freebies, hear what all the special offers are and see what they could be doing when they�re not studying hard. The fair is held at Newton Park Students' Union and takes up the entire ground floor of the Union building, and also fills a large marquee right outside the building. Wednesday in freshers week is perfect for the Freshers fair as all students will at some point have to be on site to complete their registration process. On the day you will be provided with a 6ft tressle table and seating for two. Power is available, and we have 6/7 prime locations, and a less noisy area. Other specific needs can be catered for.
