WE ARE NOW RECRUITING FOR:
Student Staff - various positions for September 2017
Our student staff team are the backbone of the Union and a vital part of our shop, gym, bar and kitchen teams. Typically our student staff work for between 2 - 15 hours per week during term time. Our staff are paid £7.05 per hour plus holiday pay.
We are about to recruit into our busy team for next academic year and are interested in hearing from you if you are hardworking, reliable, enthusiastic and have experience of working in one or more of the following:
- Bar or Catering
- Gym, health or fitness
To apply for a role please bring yourself and a copy of your CV to our Recruitment Event on FRIDAY 5th MAY between 11am and 2pm in the SU Bar. We also ask that applicants complete an Equalities Monitoring Form and bring that with them.
At the event we will ask you to complete an application form and take part in an interview. You'll also be able to find out more about the roles on offer.
Shortlisted applicants from this event will then be invited to take part in a group interview on Wednesday 17th May 5-7pm. Applicants must make sure they are able to attend on 17th May.
Representation & Advice Assistant
Are you passionate about supporting students to gain the most from their time at University? Do you enjoy working with a wide variety of people who are equally passionate about enabling students to shape their academic experience and supporting students through the pressures that university life can bring?
Can you bring organisation to a role where you are faced with competing demands and where no two days are ever the same? If so we would love to hear from you!
We are currently seeking to appoint a Representation & Advice Assistant to join our busy team. This role is initially offered on a fixed term basis of one year whilst the Union structures are reviewed.
