The chance to become a Student Trustee at the Students’ Union is an exciting opportunity to use your skills and knowledge to make a positive difference to the lives of your fellow students at the University.
It is also a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in leading a business with an estimated annual turnover of £1.3m. Being a trustee is a voluntary role, which will give demonstrable experience on your CV.
Student Trustees are appointed annually. They must be a student at the time of their appointment and continue to be a student during their term of office. Student Trustees serve a term of office of one year and may serve a maximum of two consecutive terms.

Student Staff - various positions for September 2017
Our student staff team are the backbone of the Union and a vital part of our shop, gym, bar and kitchen teams. Typically our student staff work for between 2 - 15 hours per week during term time. Our staff are paid £7.05 per hour plus holiday pay.
We are about to recruit into our busy team for next academic year and are interested in hearing from you if you are hardworking, reliable, enthusiastic and have experience of working in one or more of the following:
- Bar or Catering
- Gym, health or fitness
To apply for a role please bring yourself and a copy of your CV to our Recruitment Event on FRIDAY 5th MAY between 11am and 2pm in the SU Bar. We also ask that applicants complete an Equalities Monitoring Form and bring that with them.
At the event we will ask you to complete an application form and take part in an interview. You'll also be able to find out more about the roles on offer.
Shortlisted applicants from this event will then be invited to take part in a group interview on Wednesday 17th May 5-7pm. Applicants must make sure they are able to attend on 17th May.
