Make the most of your SPA Week by applying for our SPA Week Community Grant
Do you have a community project or social enterprise that needs funding? The SU’s SPA Weeks Community Grant could be for you. We are looking for student-led projects or social enterprises to bid for one of three £200 grants. With this grant, you’ll then deliver a community activity during SPA Week 2 (18th-22nd March 2019).
Not only will you receive a grant from the SU but we will also provide support and training for students involved, between Spa Week 1 and SPA Week 2, to help you build your project and run your activity. To find out more about the SPA Week Community Grant click here. If you are interested in applying for one of these grants then come along to the SU's Community Grant Workshop which will take place during SPA Week 1.
Vice President Community Enya-Jayne Battersby said: "University isn't just a place for you to get a degree; you're here to grow, develop as a person, and try and impact your community. Volunteering is a great opportunity to do this, and these grants could give you the resources to promote positive change"
Not got a project yet? Or generally interested in community engagement and social enterprise?
Then come to our Community Grant Workshop. This workshop will give you an introduction to community engagement and social enterprise in Bath, and give you an idea of how you can get involved. It will also give more detail on the grant and how to apply. There will also be time to start on your grant proposal, with staff from the SU on hand to give advice.
Proposals for the SPA Week Community Grant are due by Friday 23rd November, 5 pm.
