The 2018 SU Awards Season has come to an end! We would like to say a huge congratulations to all nominees and winners of the SU Awards Season including Students, Staff and Athletic Union members. Your achievements are central to our mission as an SU and we hope to celebrate even more of these achievements next year. A huge thank you to all of those involved in the Awards Season from people who nominated to SU and University staff - we couldn't have done any of it without all your support! The SU Student Awards

The winners announced on the evening were as follows:

Academic Impact Winners: Ethan Evans, Sam Robinson and Izzi Seale

Community Impact Winners: George Cook, Rhian Pritchard and Samuel Saunders

Impact on Student Life Winners: Sharon Bateman, Joe Benson and Spa Life

New Society of the Year: The Warhammer Society

Society Member of the Year: Callum Robbins from the Warhammer Society

Society of the Year: The Illustration Society

The Presidents' Award: Kyla Smith


The Student Led Staff Awards 

Thank you to all the staff and students that attended the Student Led Staff Awards on the 16th May in Commons Atrium. It was wonderful to see such support for the achievements and committment of staff at Bath Spa this year. 

The winners announced on the evening were as follows:

Outstanding Support Award: Darren Hoad

Outstanding Supervision Award: Matthew Wilkins 

Professional Services of the Year Award: Elizabeth Creevy

Extra Mile Award: Rebecca Bostock 

Technician of the Year Award: Richard Winfield

First Time Teacher of the Year Award: Jake Hobbs

Lecturer of the Year Award: Paul Reid-Bowen

Outstanding Contribution to the Student Experience Awards x2: Ceri Jenkins and David Smith 


The AU Awards Dinner 

Thank you to all Sport Teams that attended the AU Awards Dinner on 18th May, it was a fantastic night and congratulations to all winners.

The main award winners were as follows: 

Men’s Sports Personality of the Year: Jake Bowkett

Women’s Sports Personality of the Year: Chloe Linfield

Most Improved Club:  Hockey

AU Team Achievement Award: Men’s Football 1st

Club of the Year: Netball
