Bath Spa Netball Club is run by students at Bath Spa University; providing an opportunity to not only learn and develop new and old skills in netball but also to improve in fitness, as well as forming valuable friendships and opportunity for socialising! We aim to be a club known for its fun and friendliness, with regular weekly netball sessions, and games for those who make it onto our three competitive teams.
The Tuesday weekly netball sessions are a good opportunity to get to know all of the girls within the society, allowing those who wish to play netball less competitively to enjoy the social side of the society, alongside improving fitness at their own pace. We also offer the chance to trial as part of either of the three Bath Spa University Netball teams which compete in BUCS league matches against other universities most Wednesdays and are always striving to improve in both netball performance individually and as a team. Ability in netball is irrelevant to the club, anyone of any ability can be part of the society - whether you play netball regularly or have never tried it before and want to give it a go. We compensate for all abilities and have fun whilst doing so.
Netball Socials occur every couple of weeks; either going out to local clubs or other social opportunities such as quiz nights, meals, cinema outings etc…New netball recruits are always welcome, whether you're someone in demand of a competitive and challenging netball environment or a friendly and enjoyable one; either way, you're guaranteed to have fun and make loads of new friends!
Training is currently at Bath Sports and Leisure Centre (Better Leisure) at 7.30-9.30pm
