SPA Week Community Grant

Community Project Grant

The Students' Union is giving students the opportunity to bid for one of three £200 grants for student-led community projects or social enterprises. These funded student-led projects or social enterprises will deliver an activity within the local community during SPA Week 2 (18th-22nd March 2019). Successful projects or social enterprises should be based on one of the following areas:

  • Course-based activity
  • Club or society based activity
  • Building a long-term community project

As well as receiving a grant, the students involved with these projects will receive support and training from the SU to build their projects between Spa Week 1 and SPA Week 2. Funded projects will aim to bring together people/communities and aim to build strong relationships. One grant will be reserved for a non-Newton Park based project.
